A Swim in Madhab Hot Spring
On the Fujairah City’s Northwestern side, is located Madhab’s Hot Spring Park. These Hot Springs produce naturally hot water which is then transferred to the pools that are separated by gender. Huge Gardens surround these pools.If by any chance you happen to visit Fujairah, these hot springs ooze out water full of minerals and Sulphur. The natives believe that this water has some healing powers which is still an unsolved mystery.
Fujairah’s Museum full of Heritage
After some digs at the location of Qidfa and Bithnah, archeologists found some artifacts dating back from the Bronze Age.Portrayed items include weaponry from the silver and bronze age, Pottery, Carved soapstone vessels, and pre-Islamic coins.

Sheikh Zayed Mosque
This majestic mosque has about six minarets which are 100 meters of hight. The prayer hall can hold almost 32,000 worshipers. The architecture of the mosque is inspired by Ottoman. After its opening in 2015, it became popular among the natives and the tourists. It is the 2nd largest mosque in the U.A.E after the first largest mosque that is the Grand Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi.The mosque offers free tours from Saturday to Thursday between 9 am till noon. Non-Muslim visitors can also visit the mosque.
The Gigantic chandeliers and Irish-styled arches add to the beauty of the Mosque. To visit the Mosque, you should properly follow the dress code which includes headscarf, full sleeves, and trousers touching the toes.

For climbers and hikers, Fujairah’s Hajar Mountain Wadis is nothing less than a paradise. In Hajar Wadis the most eminent ones are Wadi Siji, Wadi Saham, and Wadi Maidaq.In the north of Fujairah, Wadi Al Wurayah is located, it is UNESCO’s biosphere reserve well and closed for the public in order to preserve its ecology.
Fujairah’s Spectacular Bull Butting Sport
Portuguese introduced the sport of Bull butting in this region, and Fujairah is one o the few cities in the world that still has this culture alive. This event takes place every Friday on the city’s coastal line.The Sport starts with 20 bulls and they all bump in each other and push each other. With time the number starts to decrease and bulls start to give up. The winner is the bull that stays put until all the other bulls have given up.
