The name of Fairy Meadows Comes from a legend that says that Fairies have their Paradise/Heaven on this stupendous Plateau. In 1953, this place was named “Fairy Meadows” by an Australian climber Hermann Buhl, who was the first one to ascent Nanga Parbat because of its astonishing views and scenery.
