Way To Arang Kel

The way to Arang Kel is an adventure itself. The route usually taken to reach Arang Kel starts from Muzaffarabad, moving towards the Neelum Valley, the Neelum valley itself is a famous tourist spot but we are going to heaven on earth, so the journey continues.
After a drive of 110 km from Neelum Valley, there is a popular base camp for tourists known as Sharda. From Sharda, it takes 23 km more to reach Kel. Tourist usually stoops at Sharda for a night. When at Kel you are just a few km away from your destination or we can say a few hours.
Next, to reach the Arang Kel your ultimate destination you will have two options, you can either opt to trek 2 km to Arang Kel, or if you are lazy and want to save time you can opt for the Chair lift that will take you from Kel to Arang Kel.
The chair lift may sound fun, but trust us it isn’t, it is designed like a hut made up of metal and is handmade, cuboid in shape allows six people to sit in it at once. If you skip the Chair lift to Kel it takes approximately 1 hour of hiking to reach your destination and may vary on your speed.
But once you reach your destination you are going to forget about everything, and all your tiredness will be gone by the picturesque view of the Enchanting Arang Kel. A place full of nature and greenery without any wires or electricity poles. Just the vast green lands of grass with some small wooden huts surrounded by some of the big mountain tops that are covered in snow.
